TESS 2026: Call for Proposals
eCampusOntario's annual TESS conference celebrates and advances community and collaboration across the postsecondary sector. Colleagues from around the province and beyond reconnect at Ontario's favorite technology and education conference. Since 2015, the flagship event has allowed participants to enjoy a shared experience with professionals passionate about creating vibrant learning experiences that empower learners to achieve their goals.
This year TESS will be held at The Quay, in Toronto, on November 11 and 12.

Applicants' session proposals will be evaluated on the following criteria .
Theme: Reinventing Education for a Resilient Future
Postsecondary education in Canada is at a critical inflection point, with significant global and domestic changes requiring the redefinition of our approach to teaching and learning. This necessity offers educators not only a challenge , but an unparalleled opportunity to reinvent pedagogies that better support learner success. TESS 2026 is seeking in-person presentations on how we can explore these opportunities for innovative practical solutions that provide educators, institutions and learners with the tools they need to thrive in a transitional future.

What to expect from the proposal review process:
- eCampusOntario is using the platform Rhythmq (Rhythmq is an online platform that helps organizations to collect and review submissions and applications) to enable efficient acceptance and double-blind process for all TESS applications.
- All peer reviewers and individuals who submit a proposal will be prompted to create a Rhythmq account.
- Individuals interested in submitting a proposal will do so through their accounts. All proposals will be stored and reviewed by the peer review community within the platform.
- The peer review process is double-blind and peer reviewers will not be able to see name, institution, or title of the submitter.
As an individual submitting a proposal, the platform will assist you to:
- Save a draft of your proposal so you can review it multiple times before submitting it.
- A proposal can only be owned and edited by one contact, although collaborator information may be included (but will not be contacted).
- Check the status of any submissions you make.
- Communicate with eCampusOntario about your submission.
- Withdraw an application at any time.
Privacy and security considerations:
Your reviews are private and will not be available to anyone external to the eCampusOntario TESS team. eCampusOntario will never use the information you provide outside of the purpose for which it was collected, but there are always risks when using software platforms that we do not control. If you understand these risks and are interested in submitting a proposal for TESS, please create an account.

The deadline for submissions is June 23, 2026 at 5:00pm.
The peer review process will take place in July. Please monitor your email from late July to mid-August for the results.

The Technology-Assisted Learning Seminar and Showcase (TALS) has been eCampusOntario 's flagship annual event since 2015. It celebrates and fosters cooperation and collaboration within the post-secondary sector. Connect with colleagues from across the province and beyond at Ontario's most popular technology and education conference . - A proposal can only be created and modified by one person, but the contact details of other people who collaborate can be included (they will not, however, be contacted).
- Check the status of all the submissions you have made.
- Contact eCampusOntario regarding your submission.
- Withdraw an application at any time.

Your comments will remain confidential and will not be accessible to anyone outside the eCampusOntario SVET team. eCampusOntario will never use the information you provide for purposes other than those for which it was collected; however, there are always risks associated with using software platforms that we do not control. The peer review process will take place in July. Please check your email between the end of July and mid-August for the results.
Remember to check your emails regularly in July – and in August, as this is when we will be sending out acceptance letters.

1. Register / S'incrire
Click on the "Register" link and complete and submit the registration form. /

Login to the award with your email and password. /
Connectez-vous au programme de récompense avec votre adresse courriel et votre mot de passe.
3. Create / Créer
Create your online application. /
Créez votre proposition en ligne.
4. Save / Enregistrer
During the Call for Applications period, your application can be saved as DRAFT until all the required information is completed. As each section is complete, you will see a 
appear in the category tab when the application is saved. At any time, you can download and print your application by clicking on the 
icon in the Application Summary section. /
Pendant la période d’appel à propositions, votre proposition peut être enregistrée comme BROUILLON tant que toutes les informations requises ne sont pas complétées. Une fois chaque section complétée, une coche apparaîtra dans l’onglet de la catégorie lorsque la proposition sera enregistrée. À tout moment, vous pouvez télécharger et imprimer votre proposition en cliquant sur l’icône dans la section « Résumé de la proposition ».
5. Submit / Soumettre
On completion, save your Application as FINAL. Download and print a copy of your application for your records by clicking on the icon in the Application Summary section in the right column. Note: If an update is required prior to the Call for Applications period, you can make the update and resave as FINAL. /
Une fois terminée, enregistrez votre proposition en version FINALE. Téléchargez et imprimez une copie de votre proposition pour vos dossiers en cliquant sur l’icône dans la section « Résumé de la proposition » dans la colonne de droite. Remarque : Si une mise à jour est nécessaire avant la fin de la période d’appel à propositions, vous pouvez effectuer la modification et enregistrer à nouveau en version FINALE.
